About
I've always known I wanted to help people heal. What I didn't know was that it would take me through physical therapy school, into restaurant ownership, and through my own life transitions before I'd find my way to this office in Union Square.
As a physical therapist, I learned how the body holds what the mind can't process. Running a restaurant in New York taught me about pressure, perfectionism, and the cost of chronic stress. And navigating my own career pivots showed me how identity can feel both fixed and fluid, sometimes in the same week.
Today, after 21 years as a psychotherapist, I understand that the most profound changes happen when we stop treating our struggles as problems to fix and start seeing them as messages worth decoding.
"My goal is simply this: that you feel deeply understood and leave each session with something useful in your pocket."
Approach
I draw from several therapeutic modalities, but my core belief is simple: you are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you see patterns you might have missed, understand why certain things feel so difficult, and develop practical tools to navigate whatever you're facing.
